MONOPOLY Welcomes Share member #50

On April 23, 2008, Leon and Lynne Reeder joined our MONOPOLY family.

Kim and I met Leon and Lynne at Christ Community Church in Aurora, IL. They are both involved in the music ministry with Kim. They also have a daugher, Brynne, who is the same age as our daughter Kaelie (9 years old) and they may be our future Co-CEO's of MONOPOLY II. :)

Leon and Lynne will celebrate 15 years of marriage on December18th, 2008. They have 4 children between them: Aaron (32); Lane (24 and expecting their first grandchild in October); Lindsay (21); and together they have Brynne (9).

Leon calls Champaign, IL his hometown having lived there for 41 of his years. Leon is a professional IT consultant, developing software solutions for both government entities and larger corporations.

Lynne was a military brat, but calls Wetumpka, AL her hometown as her parents retired there after she graduated. Lynne is a Certified Performance Technologist and works out of her home office running IntellaLearn Corporation, a performance consulting business.

In very colorful past lives, Leon was a professional musician for 20+ years and a top ten recording artist with the R&B band, Champaign. He performed all over the US and Europe and made appearances on Soul Train, American Bandstand, the Merv Griffith Show and on Disneyworld’s Tomorrow Land stage.

In very different venue, Lynne was a professional musician with the Air Force band for seven years, much of that time spent in Central and South America, performing for international relations events, heads of state, and diplomatic functions.

Leon and Lynne met in Champaign, but have lived in the Chicagoland area for all 15 years of their married life.

When asked why they joined MONOPOLY, they explained, "Like so many others, we have always felt real estate would be a wise and solid addition to our financial plan, but had no idea how to start, and did not really have the time or the expertise to make it work. This is an awesome way to accomplish this."

Also, We love the “family” approach, future generation focus, detailed growth plan, and values as well as the comfort of knowing it is a Christian organization.

We have faith in Bill’s ability, with God’s help, to bring this to fruition and look forward to this adventure with the entire Monopoly family!
